Friday Night Football! SENIOR NIGHT

The Streetsboro Rockets celebrated Senior Night by welcoming the Woodridge Bulldogs only to then bludgeon them. After Donovan Washington-Perdue scored the first of his four first half touchdowns from the two yard line, Woodridge’s offense engineered a drive culminating in a long passing touchdown into the left corner of the end zone, tying the game at 7 apiece.
The Rockets would then score the next 44 points to close out the first half, including a Hunter Hopperton sack safety, a Carter Giacomo punt return touchdown, a Maysun Klimak touchdown pass to Tyler Bodovetz who ran it in from 58 yards, three more Washington touchdowns, and a one-yard plunge from Mike Hall.
In the second half, Woodridge would score again, but the Rockets scored three more times including a defensive touchdown on an interception from Hopperton and two more rushing touchdowns. The Rockets rushed for 490 yards as a team including 118 from Washington, 117 from Richtell McCallister and 90 from Chris Golson while setting a school record for points in a game, beating the stuffing out of the Bulldogs, 72-13. Kicker Ryan Thomson also tied the record for extra points in a game at 10 set by Andrew Sway the previous season.
