Rockets Homecoming Celebrates Huge Win over Ravenna!

Celebrating homecoming, the Streetsboro Rockets provided a rude welcome to the Ravenna Ravens as Donovan Washington-Perdue returned the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. Ravenna’s situation did not improve as the Rockets put up 35 first quarter points.
The Rockets defense was suffocating, not yielding a first down until the third quarter. They scored as many touchdowns as they allowed as Shawn Gates housed a fourth quarter interception.

Maysun Klimak completed 8 of 10 passes for 199 yards and three touchdowns through the air, all in the first quarter – two to Carter Giacomo and one to Chris Golson. Giacomo caught 4 passes for 118 yards for the game while Golson caught two for 50 yards.
Richtell McCallister scored four touchdowns including scoring runs of 46, 32, 78 and 41 yards. He finished with 10 carries for 231 yards, but the Ravens were able to get one of their two scores recovering a McCallister fumble and taking it all the way to the end zone. McCallister has rushed for 488 yards and eight touchdowns on 29 carries in the past two games.
Ravenna mounted a touchdown drive in the third quarter as well, but the Rockets proved to be overwhelming, trouncing the Ravens 63-14, moving them to 5-0 with their regular season finale at Norton to be played next week.
