Student Athlete-Joe Boardwine (1993)
Joe Boardwine won 114 matches in his high school wrestling career as a Streetsboro Rocket from 1990-1993. He was a three time Ohio State qualifier and three time Ohio State Place winner. He is also Streetsboro’s only two time Ohio High School State Champion in any sport. Joe won State Wrestling titles in both 1992 and 1993. He was undefeated in conference dual matches throughout his high school career, posting a 30-0 record for the Rockets. Joe went on to be named a high school All-American by Wrestling USA to finish his high school career
