Mark is a 1997 graduate of Streetsboro High School. As a wrestler for the Rockets, Mark posted an impressive 127-18 record in 3 years. He dominated the Portage County League winning Championships in 1996 and 1997. Mark was also a member of the 1997 State Championship team, while finishing 2nd in the state in 1997 and 3rd in the state in 1996. Mark continued his wrestling career after graduating from Streetsboro by accepting a scholarship to Kent State University.
